Coast Capital Savings
Brookswood Branch-Silent Auction
For Tattoo the Painted Horse
February 10th to 28th, 2015
Coast Capital Savings Brookswood Branch is hosting a Silent Auction to raise funds to complete the Anti-bullying book around Tattoo, the Painted Horse and the story of the vandalism he encountered.
All of the funds raised will be used for the production of 500 books which will be donated to our local elementary school libraries and Langley community libraries. Much time has been donated by the Illustrator and Artist (Marilyn Dyer) and the Writer (Rie Charles).
Tattoo, the Painted Horse is currently on display at Coast Capital Savings and will remain there during the auction (along with a write up of his story). Coast Capital Savings is a presenting partner of the CKNW’s Pink Shirt Day – BC’s Anti-Bullying Day which is Wed Feb 25th this year and these both align to the focus on anti-bullying. Feel free to stop by and read Tattoo’s story and bid on auction items!
The Brookswood community will directly benefit from the cause.
